Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in Houston with the Whole Family

This Hispanic Heritage Month, immerse yourself in the music and the culture that maintains a hot pulse on Houston! From September 15th to October 15th we get the opportunity to attend events and culturally themed activities celebrating the Latino culture. 

We also observe Mexican 🇲🇽 Independence Day and Central American Independence Days for Costa Rica 🇨🇷, El Salvador 🇸🇻, Guatemala 🇬🇹, Honduras 🇭🇳, and Nicaragua 🇳🇮!


Houston has these events going on:

🌿 Houston Arboretum Hosts Latino Conservation Week

9/18 - 9/21

This annual celebration highlights Latino communities’ contributions to conservation and provides opportunities to build a stronger connection with nature. Throughout the week you can enjoy volunteer activities, educational events, and more!

At Children's Museum Houston, Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to learn about the achievements of Hispanic people, as well as celebrate their culture through activities, and live performances!

And something to look forward to this Fall is this FREE annual event: Fall Festival - Myths and Leyendas. RSVP is open for this event that falls right after Dia de Los Muertos. This will be the 3rd year my son and I will attend and enjoy the wonderful activities and entertainment. It’s an awesome family-centric cultural experience for everyone!
